This season, Ms. Nuñez joins St. Petersburg Opera Company as a Resident Artist performing Musetta in various concerts and covering Liu in Turandot. Additionally, Ms. Nuñez will star in La Voix Humaine, a film adaptation of the opera with Tirgan Records and Killer Queen Opera in New York City, as well as a live performance in various venues. She also will be joining South Florida Lyric Opera for their 2024/2025 season. Favorite and performed operatic roles in Ms.Nuñez’s repertoire include Juliette (Romeo et Juliette), Mimi (La Boheme), Musetta (La Boheme), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), and Helena (Midsummer Night’s Dream).

Equally at home on the concert stage, Ms.Nuñez has performed as the Soprano soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches, and is a member of the Grammy nominated Taylor Festival Choir. Marina has performed recitals in Náměšť and Prague, Czech Republic and throughout Austria, Italy, and the United States. Ms.Nuñez has been a featured soloist with Palm Beach Signature Chamber Series, as well as a semi finalist in the Czech and Slovak International Competition. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Michigan & a Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.


Get to Know Marina

My fondest TFC memory was performing the Reaching for the Light Concert with excerpts of Considering Matthew Shepard and Nolemtiba.

My life's motto is "take it one step at a time."

I'm passionate about Hiking, nature, and lots of coffee.

The song I could listen to on repeat is The Night We Met, because it’s my first dance wedding song.

This year I want to Get out of my comfort zone.

If I could only eat three meals for the rest of my life, they would be Caprese Salad, A good steak, and Olives.

One of my secret indulgences is Olives. I could eat a whole jar in one sitting.

Game of Thrones is one of my favorite TV shows because It never gets boring.

I love The Lions, because It’s my family team.

I got to meet John Krasinsky.
