Will Royal

William Royall is a versatile musician and dedicated professional with a rich background in choral music education and performance. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Choral Music Education from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he studied voice with Jerry Helton and John Fowler, additionally studying choral conducting under Kathy Kinsey. During his time at Winthrop, he showcased his vocal talent in notable roles such as Marco in Gianni Schicchi, El Dancaire in Carmen, and Ike Skidmore in Oklahoma.

Upon graduation, Will joined the Opera Carolina Theater Company in Charlotte, North Carolina, further refining his craft in the opera world. Today, he serves as the store manager for Royall Ace Hardware in Mt. Pleasant, while continuing to pursue his passion for music. He is an active participant in Charleston, SC's choral and operatic community and is also a highly sought-after soloist for a variety of performances.

Will is in his 13th year with the Taylor Festival Choir, contributing his voice and leadership to the ensemble's success. His involvement with the Taylor Music Group extends beyond performance, as he has previously served on its board, further demonstrating his commitment to the arts in his community.
