Get to Know Laura
My fondest TFC memory was coming back together after Covid to perform in the Fall of 2021 will always be one of my favorite memories. It was the first time many of us had been able to make music in a group with other people in over a year and you could feel the collective catharsis in the room.
My life's motto is "We can do hard things."
I'm passionate about yoga, baking, and hanging out with my dog, Betty.
The song I could listen to on repeat is The Heart is a Muscle by Gang of Youths.
If I could only watch three TV shows for the rest of my life, they would be Gilmore Girls, Ted Lasso, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite TV shows because everyone talks fast and Emily Gilmore is an icon.
I got to meet Zac Efron on the set of his first movie around 2005. It was a movie about horse racing that was filmed near my house, and Zac learned how to ride at the farm where I took riding lessons. We took lessons together for a few weeks and I got to be an extra in the movie. The movie was awful but Zac is a really cool guy.
